From the promoter: DIRTFEST 2011 *HERO PARTY FOR OUR FIREFIGHTERS* This summer has been extremely demanding on our firefighters and as you know, they have fought several massive wildfires, and 100′s of smaller ones. They have gone above and beyond to keep us and our property safe this year, and deserve a huge “THANK YOU”! Dirtfest is an annual thing hosted by Josh Fuller and Dirt & Diesel, and its our way of giving back. We invite our friends to play music while also raising money and awareness for specific causes. This year, Dirtfest’s mission is to provide the community with an environment to say thanks to those who have sacrificed so much to keep us safe. you will enjoy live music by several local, and not so local bands, ranging from rock to blues to Texas Country. We will have food/drink vendors, as well as arts&crafts vendors. Money will be raised through corporate sponsorships to cover all costs, and any additional money will go to our Fire fighters and respective departments. Also we will have a clothing/food drive to aid the victims of the fires in Grimes county who lost everything. There are many more details that will be announced as we get closer to the event, and the more the word gets out, the bigger and better it will be. Lets give these guys in Montgomery, Walker, Grimes, Liberty, and North Harris County the HERO PARTY they deserve!
