• Notes: Austin-based musician, Ginger Leigh, who performs frequently in Houston venues, as well as appears as Emcee at the Houston Women’s Music Festival and at this year’s LHI Gala, recently underwent a mastectomy and reconstruction due to a breast cancer called Mucinous Adenocarcenoma. A portion of her medical costs are being covered by the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM), however surgeon fees, anesthesiological fees, and …not performing for up to 6 weeks is an added stress to Ginger’s battle with breast cancer. Fortunately, Ginger’s prognosis was on the better side of cancer (if there is one) and she is already on the fast track to recovery. Let’s come together to pitch in to ease some of the financial pressures for Ginger Leigh and help her heal as quickly as possible!
